1. Course format and standards

3. Completion rules and assessment approach
- Module completion: all screens viewed. Knowledge checks are formative: scored and reported, but not gating, so learners can learn from feedback without being locked out.
- Course completion: all eight modules complete and the final assessment passed at 80% or above.
- Final assessment: knowledge and scenario-based decision items sampled across all modules; unlimited resits; item order varied between attempts.
- Certificate: issued on course completion; carries the awareness-level safeguard disclaimer defined in the Course Outline.
4. Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)

5. Compatibility
- Devices: responsive for desktop, tablet and mobile; touch targets minimum 44px; verified at 1440px and 390px widths.
- Browsers: current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. Cross-browser testing at Deliverable 3 will document the recommended browser.
- Delivery: functions within a standard LMS environment via the SCORM package; no external plugins; media weight optimised for modest connections.
6. Multimedia and interactivity standards
- Narration: professional audio narration per screen with clear pacing suited to the regional audience (the sample module uses a preview voice; final audio is produced in Deliverable 2).
- Illustration and animation: calm, non-literal artwork; no imagery of distressed children; representation is gender-responsive, culturally appropriate and non-stereotypical, reflecting the Eastern Caribbean.
- Interaction types: reveal cards, binary sorting with corrective feedback, concept checks, branching decision scenarios with consequences, procedural flows, document tools, scored assessments.
- Video: the screen kit includes a captioned 16:9 video block for modules where produced or supplied video is preferred over animation.
